We're a small business owned and operated by women who care about other women. We believe in fair wages, equality, and lifting up others.
One of our missions with Betsy Dare is to give back to charitable organizations that are important to us, especially organizations that support women and the LGBTQ+ community.
We're pledging to donate $5 from every sale in of our Hot Pink Confetti Radical Clutch in 2023 to the Yellowhammer Fund, which supports reproductive justice in the Deep South. The Yellowhammer Fund is a non-profit committed to community education on sex and women's health, and they currently have a program to give away free emergency contraceptives to women in need.
Also, Betsy Dare is a member of the Ally Business Circle in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and a supporter of Druid City Pride, a 501(c)(3) non-profit community organization that serves and advocates for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning (LGBTQ+) members of the West Alabama community and their allies. They have many Pride-focused events throughout the year, culminating in the Druid City Pride Festival each October.
We at Betsy Dare have been attending the festival since the beginning (way before there was even a Betsy Dare), and it's one of our favorite events of the year!
